*This recipe uses a seasoning blend (My Favorite Roast Seasoning Blend) found in the eCookbook, Mix it / Store it / Make it  ~ Entrees and Seasonings.  Click here to purchase and make the seasoning for your pantry!

4-5 pounds brisket, trimmed
4 tablespoon My Favorite Roast Seasoning Blend
2 cups water
16 oz jar bbq sauce
16 hamburger buns

  1. Place brisket in a 6 quart slow cooker.  In a small dish, combine seasoning, water and bbq sauce.
  2. Cook on low for 10-12 hours or on high for 8-10 hours. Brisket is ready when it falls apart with a fork.
  3. Shred the meat and serve on buns.
Serves 16

Fill the Freezer:
This makes a lot, so if you are not serving a crowd, don't shy from this dish.  Use what you need and freeze the rest in a gallon freezer bag.  It can be reheated later in the microwave or on the stove top.  It's a great topper for baked potatoes too.
