1/3 cup Basic White Sauce Blend
2 tablespoons Basil and Garlic Seasoning Blend
14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
1/3 - 1/2 cup vodka (to taste)
1/2 cup heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, whisk together the white sauce blend, seasoning blend, tomatoes and vodka (start with 1/3 cup). Bring to a simmer and reduce heat to a medium low, stirring constantly.
  2. When it begins to thicken, taste to see if you want to add anymore of the vodka and then add the heavy cream, stirring constantly while adding it.  Keep stirring for about 1 more minute.
  3. Remove from heat, add salt and pepper to taste and it is ready to serve.
SIDE DISH ~ pour over hearty pasta
ENTREE ~ add precooked chicken and toss with fettuccine or linguine noodles OR use as a sauce over grilled beef or chicken.
