Easy Pizza Sauce

*This recipe uses a seasoning blend found in the eCookbook, Mix it / Store it / Make it  ~ Entrees and Seasonings.  Click here to purchase and make the seasoning for your pantry!

Ingredients
6 oz can tomato paste
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons Simple Spaghetti Sauce Blend

Directions

  1. In a microwave safe bowl*, stir together all of the ingredients until they are thoroughly combined.
  2. Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes.  Let sit for 5-7 minutes until warm but not too hot to work with.
  3. Use as much as needed to cover pizza crusts of choice.  (one batch will make 2-3 large pizzas)
*Can use a small pan on stove top instead of microwave if desired.  Bring to a simmer over medium heat and then let sit to cool.

Make several batches and store 1/4 cup portions in quart sized freezer bags. When ready to use, just defrost in the fridge or under warm water, then cut a hole in one of the bottom corners and squeeze your pizza sauce onto the bagels OR a full pizza crust without any mess! This makes a quick pizza snack for the kids after school an easy option.  Or, homemade pizza night is now as quick and easy as ordering taken...only it will taste much better!
