Simple Southwest Dip

*This recipe uses seasoning blends found in the eCookbook, Mix it / Store it / Make it  ~ Entrees and Seasonings.  Click here to purchase and make the seasonings for your pantry!

8-ounce container sour cream
2 tablespoons Southwestern Style Seasoning Blend

  1. In a small bowl, combine both ingredients together.
  2. Cover and chill 30 minutes.
  3. Serve with your choice of chips or fresh vegetables.

Tami's Tip:
This dip is great on a baked potato instead of plane sour cream.  Fill the potato with butter, some drained black beans, this dip and top with shredded cheddar.  Yum!

Cook Once / Serve Twice:
Make this dip for a party, setting some aside to use for a Southwest potato another night.  Take chicken, beef or pork left over from Amazing Grilled or Southwest Slow cooked recipes, shred and add to the potato described above.  A great meal for any family.  Don't forget to add some Southwest Guacamole!
