1 pound ground turkey (or 2 cups of precooked ground turkey)
1/2 cup chopped onion
Hot pepper sauce to taste
6 hamburger buns
- In a large skillet, brown the turkey with the chopped onion.*
- When cooked through, drain and add the bbq sauce. Cook to heat through, adding hot sauce as desired.
- Serve over hamburger buns.
Get the Kids Cooking:
This is a perfect meal to let the kids be in charge, especially if the ground turkey is precooked. Another way to make the preparation more kid friendly is to use pre-diced onions found bagged in the freezer section.
