*This recipe uses a seasoning blend found in the eCookbook, Mix it / Store it / Make it  ~ Entrees and Seasonings.  Click here to purchase and make the seasoning for your pantry!

1 pound ground turkey (or 2 cups of precooked ground turkey)
1/2 cup chopped onion
Hot pepper sauce to taste
6 hamburger buns

  1. In a large skillet, brown the turkey with the chopped onion.*
  2. When cooked through, drain and add the bbq sauce. Cook  to heat through, adding hot sauce as desired.
  3. Serve over hamburger buns.

*NOTE: If you have precooked ground turkey in the freezer, put a little olive oil in the pan, sauté onions and add cooked turkey to warm through.  Follow rest of directions as listed.

Get the Kids Cooking:
This is a perfect meal to let the kids be in charge, especially if the ground turkey is precooked.  Another way to make the preparation more kid friendly is to use pre-diced onions found bagged in the freezer section.
