Dinner time decisions are best made in advance, but sometimes we need a little help.  
Each week I'll feature 7 days of meals using Cook Once / Serve Twice concepts.
In addition, I'll share my thought process 
so you can learn ways to stream line your dinner time decisions
...or just use mine!

HERE'S THE PLAN!

Monday
(I have a full family at the table and time to cook today, so I'll make a family favorite)
Pork Chops with Mushroom Gravy
Rice
The pork chops were seasoned with salt and pepper and pan fried in the large skillet.
Topped with gravy and served!


Tuesday
(A little busy today, but not leaving home.  Plus, a cool front came through so I'm inclined to heat up the oven.  The chicken is a bagged meal from a fill the freezer session so it was easy to throw it on a baking sheet.  The veggies cook at same temp as the chicken, so all I have to do is put it in the oven and let it cook while I tend to 'busyness'  of my day.)

Orange BBQ Chicken Legs
Slaw 
{had some left from last night...so finishing it off tonight!}
Roasted Asparagus, Mushrooms and Baby Potatoes

 
Wednesday
(This is the one day of the week that I'm gone all day at the food bank, home for just 3 hours and then off to choir practice, so it's always best to make this a slow cooker meal day.)

Mexican Rice

Thursday
Amazing Pork Chops
(made these in a recent fill the freezer session, so all I had to do was defrost and pan fry!)
Sauteed Asparagus with Mushrooms
Corn












Friday
Italian Portabella Bake
Tossed Salad

It's so easy to use souffle cups I got at the local Walmart to make individual servings of this 'throw together' dish.
It helps to have premade spaghetti sauce in the freezer!


Saturday
Creamy Corn Chowder
Tossed Salad
(yes...again!)
