Here's a recipe for a dip mix we sold a LOT of over the years. {see my story here} It's a great mix to make up a few of and have on hand for last minute additions to any party or potluck event!

The recipe below calls for Tomato Flakes...something we used a lot of in our manufacturing kitchen.
Here's a link to the product I use at home and buy online.

1 tablespoon parsley
2 tablespoons tomato flakes (see ingredient link above)
2 tablespoons bacon bits (the imitation bits are better than the real bits...stronger flavor)
{all of the above ingredients can be bagged as a mix for quick and easy use in the pantry!}
8 oz sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise (must be real mayo...not Miracle Whip or other sandwich spread)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  1. Combine all ingredients and blend until fully combined.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.  Can be made ahead up to 5 days in advance.
Serve with chips
