Many of the recipes featured on this blog use a variety of Seasoning Blends or Baking Blends that I packaged and marketed for many years (click here for 'the rest of the story')
Now I'm selling the recipes for those favorite products
in a series of eCookbooks.
The recipes can be made as single use products (like a soup mix in a bag that you just empty into the pot and add the liquid before cooking)  OR in bulk blends to use as you go.  By making them in bulk and storing them in my pantry, I save time, money and even a little sanity!
Unlike a regular cookbook,
these eCookbooks keep growing
with new ideas and recipes
for using the blends at home.

No need to buy an 'updated cookbook'
...just visit the blog!
Once you have your favorite blends mixed up and stored in your home pantry, you can come to this blog and find new recipes on a daily basis! You can search by category or simply use the search box on the side bar.

    4. Those are some good ones Rebbecca ;-) Sorry about the link, but you can find that answer on this post from the other day: Things are Happening Around the Table!

There you'll read that a hint to what is coming in the first of the cookbook series is found in the recipes I'm filling up the blog with. Other blend recipes will come in future editions of the cookbook scheduled to release as soon as possible :-)

    1. I remember those cookies Michelle! I'll have to work on getting access to a particular ingredient that you can't buy on the store shelves before I can share that recipe. But the buttermilk pie...that one is sure to be shared in the near future!

  4. I was so excited to purchase the ecookbook that I tried on my phone and everything seemed to go ok through PayPal and I never saw the download button. Oh well will try again when I get home.

  5. I am so excited!!! My sister used to be a "consultant" and when she told me she could no longer hook me up with "mixes for my pantry" I was devastated. Just bought the ebook and printed it on cardstock. I have been using dried onion soup in place of the roast mix....poor substitute. Now I can make it myself! Thank you so very much. May God continue to bless your efforts as you give Him glory for everything!

  18. Hi Tami! Stopping by to thank you for the ebooks! My family is very thankful and excited that we can continue making our freezer meals and favorite foods! My husband and best friend both wanted me to ask you if Pepper Pizzaz and Cilantro Citrus would be in a future ebook and/or recipe online? Those are two of our favorites for salmon and fish and I haven't been able to find anything to replace them to date. Thanks again!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Hi Kim,
Cilantro Citrus is a possibility...I have things to work out on that one though. However, the Pepper Pizzaz was co-packaged with another manufacturer, so I don't have the ability to share that recipe with you. I'm sad too...it was a family favorite that we miss!!

    2. Thanks Tami. I have tried many combinations on the Pepper Pizzaz and can't get the same mix. It made a perfect salad dressing with olive oil and red wine vinegar! Hope to see the Cilantro Citrus. I was a consultant and it was definitely one of the ones I sold the most. I'm so thrilled to have these other recipes though. Excited about the desserts too! Thanks again for sharing.

  19. Hi Tammy! I was a consultant and miss some of these! I have tried to duplicate, but never quite the same. Thanks for sharing the ebooks. Hugs and best wishes for your future success!

  21. So happy I googled your name and found this site. I have SO missed making these meals with my family. My daughter said we should try to get the Orange Dreamsicle mix. Any chance you might share it or sell it? It would be great in our new Vitamix!

  23. Sooooo excited about finding this blog! I am buying all of the recipes books right now! I have signed up with email updates and liked your page on Facebook! I was a consultant for abotu 2 years until "the end." My aunt, Brenda Seymour was a long time consultant and put a bug in my ear that some of the recipes would be available online. I bought HG from her from the beginning and then became a consultant and was emotionally scarred by the disbanding, but this makes up for ALL of it and my family will be SO excited! I used my last little bit of Chicken Enchilada Soup mix last night and I knew then that I MUST find your recipes! Thank you SOOOO much for doing this and I may spend the rest of the day playing on this site! God bless you, sweet lady!

  24. Welcome to the table Jessidee! Tell your Aunt Brenda thanks for sending you this way and that I said hello :-)

  31. Hi Tami, I am Jessidee's Aunt Brenda. Just checking in looking for, hoping for, the recipe for Skillet Burritos. Old customers still ask me if I can get any or a recipe for them. I am so loving this site. Still trying to adjust to life W/O HG. July is a sad month for me. No Family Reunion. What great memories I have!

  33. We lived in Texas 10 years ago, I purchased a lot of your blends, and the book going along with it. Sinds then we travelled around the world. A lot of cookery books disappeared along the way, but yours remained. As a memory of lovely diner times, and delicious tastes. A week ago I was reading it again and longed for the taco soup (and some more). I wanted to write you an email asking for the recipe, but came along this site, bought all your e-cookery books and became very happy. Thank you! The freezer is now stuffed with all kinds of prepared meat and cookies. Let christmas ( and every other day of the week) come around and I'm sure it will be great to sit at the dinner table again and enjoying your best gift ever. Thank you for sharing with us your recipes. With great respect, Roell(ff)ien (Reilley)

  34. It doesn't look like any updates have been made to the site for a while. I just wanted to stop by and say I still love your recipes, I use them often!! I have all the ebooks and I do hope you continue to add content to the site! It really helps me in a pinch to keep all these great recipes and ideas in mind! I am following the ketogenic way of eating, which is very similar to Low carb, so if you ever want to focus on those types of recipes, that would be so appreciated!!! =) I used to be a HG distributor back in the day, and these recipes never grow old! God Bless!!
